Position Description

Linguist will provide interpretation support with regular TDYs (30-70 days). Travel will be both CONUS and OCONUS. Percentage of travel required 50%.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and provide a copy of your U.S. Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
• Bachelor degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience to include:
  • Interpretation (Source language<>English).
  • Review and revise written products for correctness of written expression.
  • Review and revise products for accuracy and completeness of information and written expression.
  • Summarize pertinent details of text or recorded material in an easily digestible format.
  • Sorting documents and material by importance and determining how they should be processed/routed.
• Must pass language testing with ILR 3 in translation (Source>EN); interpretation; and speaking, listening, reading.
