Job Title: CAT II Persian Farsi Linguist
Clearance Requirement: Secret (must have active clearance for consideration)
Location: Jordan and other locations potentially within CENTCOM AOR
Program Overview
United States Central Command (CENTCOM) II- Linguist Support is an operational-level Army force that is designated by the Secretary of the Army, as the Army Service Component Command of United States Central Command. On behalf of the Secretary of the Army and through the Chief of Staff of the Army, USARCENT exercises administrative control of all U.S. Army forces in the Middle East and Central Asia - which includes supplying, equipping, training, servicing, administrating, and maintaining forces.
Roles & Responsibilities
To provide accurate, complete, and trusted interpretation and/or translation of data from a variety of Specified Contract Required Language(s) (SCRL) in support of customer’s mission. Linguists shall cover a wide range of styles and subjects. Typical examples would include contracts and laws; treaties and international agreements on technical, scientific, military, economic, and cultural subjects; training manuals; court documents; political speeches and position papers; slide presentations; and official correspondence between Government leaders.
